Toula Burger: A Must-Try Burger Joint in Ponchatoula, LA

Food quality here is great. If you’re in the mood for a great burger or roast beef poboy this is a go to spot.

We were just passing through and decided to give Toula Burger a try. One of my people has a hamburger rating scale and he gave the burger here a solid 7.8. Good stuff and he really enjoyed the debris fries. The strawberry themed downtown was adorable and a lovely place to stretch our legs a bit!

Can't believe that I waited this long to try it. My burger was excellent and tasted exactly like I hoped that it would. Best burger that I have had in years!!

Delicious food, friendly staff, clean and cozy environment! We ordered a double smash burger and the cheesy debri fries and both were very nice size portions.

I ordered shrimp Poboy throughUber Eats and it was bad experience. I believe the driver had a lot to do with it. I called Uber Eats and they told me to call toula burger co. Well, they were very helpful and kind.. they gave me a credit for my next visit and apologized for the order issues. They are amazing!

I think this was the best burger that I have had in a really long time. Portions are huge! Great place. Highly recommend!

I was so excited about finally making it to "Toula Burgers". I ordered my food while sitting in front the building. Yet (my )food was cold when I got it. She said it would only take 15 minutes and I went in like 10 mins after. I had a smoked sausage poboy with debris fries... if it had been hotter I probably would have liked it better. The debris fries were super salty. My daughter said her twisted poboy was good but wished it had more lettuce and tomatoes on it . It was full of juicy meat and hot ( awesome) . Maybe next time we try them we will sit inside to really enjoy the food and ambience.

This restaurant was high on my list of places to try in ponchatoula. I'll start off by saying the price of this establishment is decent. The smash burger is about 11, and the double smash was about 13. That comes with fries! 5-guys would like a whole Benjamin for that meal. Drinks are about $3, and you get refills. Kiddo ordered the grilled cheese, and he was happy! Bread wasn't too big, and it was buttery! I ordered the shrimp poboy, and that's where my excitement ended. I'd like to remind everyone that they won tangi's "best poboy 2024" The shrimp were a disgrace. I only paid $12 for this sandwich with a fry, but added prep could really make this sandwich good. The French bread was great, the breading on the shrimp was great, and the fries were great. Toula burger co, please De-vein your shrimp! It's quick and, in the same cut, it butterflies them, making for a much fuller sandwich and better crunch. If they fix that, I'll be back because this place is a really good deal and a GREAT burger for the dollar.
